URGENT NEWS ABOUT THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION’S PANDEMIC TREATY. Please watch this webinar for more information, including what some states are doing to protect their citizens from the overreach of the globalists, as well as several sites which provide even more information. The vote on this treaty is scheduled for late in May. https://rumble.com/v4olitk-states-challenge-world-health-organization-jurisdiction-flccc-weekly-update.html
Now, on to my regularly scheduled post. Jan Jekeliek, of The Epoch Times’ American Thought Leaders show, hosted another remarkable interview this week. He talked with Jay Richards, who is an author, philosopher, and professor, as well as the director of the DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family and the William E. Simon senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation. Together with James Robison, Richards has written a book entitled, “Fight the Good Fight: How an Alliance of Faith and Reason Can Win the Culture War.” I was so intrigued by his ideas that I ordered the book. I don’t necessarily think the culture war will be won, but I am all for the idea of engaging with those who have different beliefs from me, but are still willing to come together on some issues, such as the trans agenda or the medical freedom fight. Richards, who is a Catholic, says that we must bring together people from all sides who agree there is a problem. We must be able to argue and defend our position to people who are different, realizing that all people have access to moral truths simply by being human. `His book is described on Amazon in this way. “Our rulers have kicked aside our Constitution and common sense. They have demonized our heroes. Now they’re trying to erase the difference between male and female. All while running up unimaginable and catastrophic debt. If we’ll pray, think straight, persuade other lovers of truth to join us, and fight together—wise as serpents and innocent as doves—then there’s still hope.”
Speaking of working with those who hold different views, back in 2021, when the Equality Act was being considered in Congress, I heard a podcast featuring a woman named Natasha Chart who was expressing concern about the way the Act would affect hard-won women’s rights. Natasha and I have little in common. She was representing WoLF (the Women’s Liberation Front) and described herself as a bisexual and a liberal feminist, yet we agreed on the Equality Act. I wrote to her to express my appreciation for her stand and received a very nice response. I loved that two radically different people could join together for a good cause. (Natasha is in the middle, wearing sunglasses, in the photo below.)
Since my correspondence with Natasha, gender ideology has become more and more radical. On the trans issue, the United States is lagging behind other countries which are acting to protect children. (Coincidentally, we also lag behind other countries in making public the data about covid and the so-called vaccines.) Several European countries have recognized that gender affirming care, including puberty blockers and surgeries, is not scientifically based, that there are no long term studies of outcomes and that it has been proven to be very destructive to health. In the UK, the world’s largest gender clinic, Tavistock, was ordered to shut down. Jay Richards calls gender affirming care the 21st century's version of eugenics. He further stated that the treatments will be recognized as a ghoulish experiment in coming years, and that no one will want to admit that they were on the wrong side of history. (Does that sound familiar? Will those who promoted the covid/vaccine agenda ever admit they were wrong?)
Those who are drawn into the trans community find loving support there, as long as they continue to transition. As multiple “detransitioners” have found, that love disappears when they realize they have made a terrible mistake and attempt to correct it as best they can. They are then persecuted by the trans community. Some detransitioners have initiated lawsuits against those who influenced them to transition, including Chloe Cole, who had a double mastectomy at age 15 as a part of her transition; Isabelle Ayala, an autistic young woman who was prescribed testosterone at age 14 after one 45 minute appointment; Prisha Mosley, who had mental health issues and was told transitioning at age 16 was the answer to her problems; and Layton Ulery, a young lady with multiple personality disorder who was prescribed testosterone, causing painful and permanent side effects. I was unable to find information online as I wrote this, but several years ago, I remember hearing the tragic story of a young man who sought treatment for emotional problems, was told he was a girl trapped in a boy’s body and ultimately underwent vaginoplasty (removing his male genitalia and forming a fake vagina). This was done in spite of the young man sharing with the counselor that he dreamed of being a father one day. This is despicable and must be called out.
Cases of parents losing custody of their children due to their refusal to support gender dysphoria are becoming more common. Abigail Martinez’s daughter, Yaeli, was removed from her home at age 16 and placed in a group home. At age 19, she committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. A Montana couple lost custody of their daughter, who now identifies as Leo. Jeff Younger of Texas lost custody of his twin sons after his wife decided that one of them was really a girl. Eventually, the mother took both sons to California, which is a sanctuary state for those who wish to transition, even if courts in other states have ruled against it.
Candace Owens recently had this to say about those who push the trans ideology:
“These people are demonic, ok? The trans agenda is demonic. Any actor, actress, individual that supports this is supporting something that is demonic. These are demons in our society, without question. And if you can stand by idly and watch this take place, to watch children that are being told they can remove their private parts, to watch people march into capitol buildings and demand that people under the age of 21 be allowed to ruin their perfectly good normal bodies for the rest of their lives, to take pills and to go through extreme bouts of depression -- if you can watch all of that and stand back and say, yeah, no, I'm okay with it, all in the pursuit of equality because you keep saying that to make yourself feel good, you're a demon. And that is just the facts of the matter.”
Now, four years after the beginning of the covid so-called pandemic, consensus is forming on that issue as well. One of the best examples is Naomi Wolf, who was a liberal Democrat and a feminist, but now works with conservative commentator, Steve Bannon. That’s an alliance that couldn’t have been predicted. Another is Dr. Pierre Kory, who describes himself as a former Democrat who read the New York Times religiously and believed the medical journals were actually publishing established science. Some other unlikely allies of conservatives on the pandemic/vaccine issue are Russell Brand, Joe Rogan and comedian J.P. Sears. Interestingly, all three men have been moving toward Christianity in recent months. Even atheist Richard Dawkins and agnostic Derek Thompson have recently made intriguing statements about Christianity and church attendance. I believe the open and extreme evil of this time is causing people to consider the reality of God and Satan, as we are told about in the Bible. The account in Genesis 3 of humankind’s fall into sin seems to me like the only explanation for the world’s condition.
We must show grace to one another so that we can work together on those issues for which we are in agreement. We must continue to try to open the eyes of those who are still blind to the agenda. The division fomented by our leaders has to stop.
